The DropOuts Credit System & Expiry Policy
DropOuts Credits (DC) act as platform currency. DC can be redeemed for Course Credits (CC), Job Placement assistance, or Interview Preparation services. Raw DC holds an active validity of one (1) year from the date of purchase.
When DC is converted into Course Credits (CC) for specific live learning hours, the expiration clock starts immediately upon purchase confirmation. Before completing the checkout, students must explicitly confirm agreement to the dynamic validity window calculated for their batch.
Expiration for Course Credits (CC) is calculated proportionally at a rate of 1 Week per 1 CC. There is no maximum cap on validity duration; validity extends strictly according to the volume of credits held:
- 1 Course Credit (CC) = Must be utilized within 1 Week
- 10 Course Credits (CC) = Must be utilized within 10 Weeks
- 40 Course Credits (CC) = Must be utilized within 40 Weeks
To accommodate personal or academic emergencies, students are permitted a maximum 2-week freeze/pause window per active Course Credit bundle. The pause request must be submitted via the Student Portal or official support email in advance.
All credit consumption operates under a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) structure. If new Course Credits are purchased prior to the expiration of an existing active batch, remaining active credits will be utilized first. The expiration countdown for the newly acquired CC batch will commence after the previous batch's cycle completes.
If session schedules are disrupted, delayed, or canceled due to instructor unavailability or internal DropOuts operations, the expiration clock will be automatically paused and extended by the exact duration of the delay.
Converted Course Credits (CC) cannot be directly transferred to other course subjects or converted back into DC under standard conditions. However, if a student accidentally selects the wrong course during checkout, they may open a support ticket. Upon verification, DropOuts management will manually revert the CC back to DC so the student can re-select the correct course.
Students will receive automated notifications and reminders via email and their portal dashboard regarding active countdowns, mid-cycle utilization progress (50% elapsed), and warnings at 7 days and 3 days prior to credit expiration.
Attendance, Cancellation & Instructor Absence Policy
If a student cancels or misses a session without at least 12 hours' prior notice, the credit for that hour will be deducted. The instructor will, however, record the lecture and provide the video link to the student as a courtesy.
If an instructor misses a scheduled session without prior notice, DropOuts will attempt to provide a qualified replacement within 24 hours. If no replacement can be arranged, the student will receive a free makeup class plus one (1) extra bonus credit as compensation.
A maximum grace period of fifteen (15) minutes is allowed for both students and instructors to join a live session. If a student fails to join within 15 minutes, the session is marked as a no-show and the credit is deducted.
Operational, Privacy & Security Policies
DropOuts offers services for various age brackets. If the student is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must review, accept, and sign off on these Terms & Conditions on the student's behalf.
Account credit freezing is governed strictly by the 2-week emergency pause policy outlined in Section 1. Any extended leave beyond standard parameters must be requested in writing and approved by management on a case-by-case basis.
Instructors found bypassing the platform will face immediate termination under their signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Students attempting to bypass the platform or privately solicit instructors will face permanent account suspension without a refund.
Account sharing is prohibited — only the registered student may attend sessions. DropOuts reserves the right to request identity verification (Passport or Government-issued ID) upon detection of suspicious activity. DropOuts also reserves the right to monitor and review recorded sessions internally for quality assurance and training purposes.
Conduct & Technical Requirements
It is the student's sole responsibility to maintain a stable internet connection and secure the necessary software (Google Meet, Zoom, or Discord). DropOuts is not liable for credits lost due to student-side technical malfunctions, power outages, or connectivity issues.
Intellectual Property
All study materials, PDFs, lab manuals, custom curriculum architectures, and recorded sessions are the exclusive intellectual property of DropOuts Personalized Learning. These assets are provided under a limited, non-transferable Student License for personal educational use only.
Career & Market Readiness Services
Credits may be redeemed for specialized career acceleration services including ATS-friendly resume building, LinkedIn profile optimization, and live interview preparation — all found on our Services Page.
Referral Program
Active students can earn between 10% to 25% in bonus credits for successful peer referrals. The exact percentage depends on the specific course tier or service selected by the referred individual.
Referral credits are officially generated and issued only after the referred student's enrollment payment has been successfully processed, verified, and cleared by our payment gateway. Bonus credits are added directly to the referring student's Credit balance.
Payments, Gateway Disputes & Amendments
In the event of payment gateway failures, transaction drops, or connection timeouts, the student must provide formal Proof of Payment (bank receipts, statement screenshots, or transaction IDs) to [email protected].
DropOuts reserves the right to modify these terms, credit valuations, pricing structures, and curriculum at any time. Notice of major structural changes will be broadcast to all active students via email fifteen (15) days prior to deployment.
